Power & Cooling (APU2)

The Calatherm APU 2 is a self-contained auxiliary power unit designed to provide independent vehicle electrical power and auxiliary cooling for specialist vehicle applications, when the main engine is not in use. Combining a high-output generator with a high-capacity air cooling system in a lightweight aluminium frame, this vehicle APU keeps onboard equipment powered and operators comfortable, even in extreme ambient temperatures. Its modular, rugged design makes it simple to integrate and maintain across a wide range of vehicle platforms, while helping to reduce vehicle idling during extended stationary operation.
